Middlebury Gem open concept and 5 minutes from town

This home is in the heart of the town of Middlebury and within walking distance to college, downtown and grocery stores. It is perfect for just two people or a large group or family. Completely remodeled in December 2020, it has an amazing fully equipped commercial kitchen, A/C on all floors, 3 large bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a great gathering and living space and great front porch and back deck.

So many amenities are within 20 minutes of our location:
Golf - Ralph Myhre and Neshobe
Hiking - Snake Mountain and Branbury State Park
Water - Lake Dunmore (8 miles away - we also have another property right on this lake)
Skiing - Middlebury Snowbowl

We love to gather and make memories and we have designed this space to be comfortable and inviting.

The house was perfect for our needs. It was an easy walk to town, bigger than what we expected, and nicely decorated and updated. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay by one night. I hope to stay at Home Plate again in the future.

My family stayed in this house while we were attending a ski festival at Rikert. The house was very comfortable and inviting, and completely well equipped. The beds were amazingly comfortable, too! I would definitely go back again!

This was a great house in a great location. Really nice, well stocked kitchen and cozy first floor. It could have been a bit cleaner (hairs in the bathroom, hair balls on the bedside tables etc) but we had a great time!

We had a wonderful weekend in this charming Middlebury home. Walking distance to downtown shops, restaurants and Middlebury College. The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked. Best of all, the beds were incredibly comfortable!

We had a very comfortable stay here while we enjoyed Middleberry with our teenagers and grandparents. The house was incredibly clean, and the owner very helpful and responsive. There are great hiking trails just at the end of the street that we used to daily. Beautiful. Quick drive to downtown, and also about a 12 minute walk which was enjoyable. Two bikes too.

We really enjoyed our stay in Middlebury. The home is wonderfully redone with an amazing kitchen (that we wish we would have used more), and lots of space. We had two families with young kids, and they loved the open layout, and we loved being able to keep an eye on them. Would stay here again every year!
