The Washburn Inn - On the Lake
8/10 Good
"Washburn Inn is an older hotel set on lake Superior with a beautiful view of the Bay, the rooms are sufficient for sleep and showers and they serve coffee in the check in area. There is a nice Superclub across the parking lot and everything is close by to visit."
Bayfield- Charming Condo, No Cleaning Fees, Jumping Off Point to Apostles
10/10 Excellent
"A nice place for our family. The condo had everything we needed and was comfortable for 4 of us. A little noise from neighbors but not too bad. Walking distance to the marina with a pool and bar/restaurant."

"The house is big and spacious, yet cozy/comfy at the same time. Had 13 people, but it didn't feel crowded. The views and setting are awesome. Overall, it is a great place to stay on shore of Lake Superior."
Outbounder

"I had a good experience with the staff and appreciated the Bun̈ coffee machine. The room was warm and clean."
Seagull Bay Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful location within easy 5-10 minute walking distance to downtown Bayfield shops, restaurants, and the ferry to Madeline Island. We were there for peak fall leaves color. The view of the lake, the island, the small marina, the trees, and the sunrise from the cozy furniture on the deck outside our door was amazing. It is a motel, so there is the potential for noise from the vehicles that park outside the rooms, but it was a non-issue. Our stay was peaceful, pleasant, and perfect."

"Light switches were strange. Could not turn on bathroom without turning on ceiling lights bright. All the on line connections seemed too much and confusing. Restaurant wascgreat"
A vacation you won't forget, stay on a 35 foot boat!
8/10 Good
"I was up there for a girls weekend. There were 5 of us. This was a wonderful spot with beautiful views of the lake. We loved sitting outside on the boat into the evening. We were thankful we had nice weather. The other people around were friendly and welcoming. The main cabin of the boat and bathroom was clean. The fridge space was plenty. Beds were decent but one friend who was a side sleeper had a difficult time getting good sleep. The main bedroom was a bit dusty but it didn’t bother me much as some of my friends. The 2 issues we had were storage space for our belongings. We packed light but every nook and cranny is taken up by the owner so our weekend bags had to be in the living room area or in the car. Had it been raining it would have been challenging for all 5 of us to sit in the main cabin together comfortably with our bags. The other issue was the toilet. The first night the sewage smell after using the toilet ( only # 1 at all times) permeated through the whole cabin and was unbearable. I was able to contact the host at 10 pm and was told to put a special liquid down the toilet. It helped somewhat but I was the only one able to sleep in the back bedroom for the rest of our stay due to the smell lingering ( my nose is not very sensitive). 2 people slept in the main cabin where it was less stinky. If we hadn’t had that issue or the storage issue it would have been a better stay. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot, fun idea to stay on a boat."

"Place was amazing! Very beautiful and clean. Loved that it was dog friendly and had plenty of space for the family. Only thing I would have changed was having a bath tub for the little ones. But we will definitely be back!"
