We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel staff was all very friendly and helpful! The hotel is beautiful and you cannot beat the view!!!! We highly recommend this hotel.

Room was clean and great for our needs. Pool and hot tub were welcome gems! Activities for kids were abundant and the onsite restaurant was good. Views of Lake Superior were anmazing! My only note is they don’t have shampoo/conditioner/body wash like many other hotels in this price range do these days (mounted bottles of each). They had a small sample of a 2 in 1 and a bar of body wash - we did have to buy this stuff nearby to have them so I recommend you pack them. Otherwise 10/10 stay!

The room was clean & space enough for the 2 of us adults. The bed & bedding was average. The continental breakfast was good. Did not include hot food but had decent bagels, donuts & muffins. The location was great & had nice outside space behind the lodge for sitting & looking at the lake. Large property with many cabins. Restaurants were not able to accommodate everyone every night.

Very family oriented. My mom is elderly and the hotel had many amenities for people with disability needs. Patio right on the water was amazing. Beautiful facility and restaurant menu was unique and food top quality.

Expensive but lovely. Rooms are not super updated but the lodge and grounds are amazing. Ebikes were a bonus. Front desk staff was super helpful and friendly. Nice yard games and pool a hot tub.

Front desk staff was super friendly and efficient. The maintenance staff that came to our lodge room to resolve an issue was very kind. Unfortunately, he was not able to resolve the issue. However, the front desk staff quickly offered a discount to our room rate as compensation. We were advised that there was a wedding on the premises and we may hear some noise, but we didn't hear a thing. They were 100% occupied for the night but it was honestly very quiet. Overall, a great stay in a lovely facility. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, and room has been nicely updated.

We loved the layout of the one bedroom cabin. The view of Lake Superior was beautiful out the front of the cabin. The kitchen was lovely and well stocked. The whirlpool tub was wonderful to have - especially after hiking the state parks all day. The only negative was that the furniture and carpet were showing some wear, as were the window shades. Bathroom lighting wasn’t the best. We enjoyed our stay!

Hotel was very clean. Front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were wonderful. They had just started a continental breakfast the first morning we were there. Very nice! Took our breakfast outside to stare at the lake. Extremely peaceful. Will definitely visit again.
