"This lodge has a true mountain cabin feel, and the guest rooms reminded me of what you’d find in an average rental cabin bedroom—so set your expectations accordingly. I stayed here about a mile from downtown Blue Ridge, while my brother and sister-in-law stayed at a downtown hotel for more than three times the price of my room.
At check-in, I mentioned that I have a heart condition and don’t sleep well, and I always request a quiet room. The front desk clerk carefully considered my request and placed me on the second floor. He was right—I was very comfortable.
My room, and the hotel overall, was clean and presented exactly as a mountain lodge should. The bed was firmer than I’m used to, but I still slept well all three nights. The bathroom was nicely updated with granite counters and tiled floors. The only small issue was a loose sink handle that needed a set screw tightened, which I reported to the front desk.
The TV was older (not a smart TV), but cable had plenty of choices, and I was able to connect my laptop via HDMI to stream YouTube.
The location is another plus: the lodge sits in a quiet area within walking distance of an Ingles supermarket—very convenient.
Overall, I had a great stay and will definitely be back!"

"The absolute best. The house was spacious, nice, and clean. My family enjoyed the pool when the weather was nice. One down fall was that the grill didn’t have a propane tank. We were still able to fix wonderful meals in the kitchen. "

"The house is very comfortable and was plenty of room for my family. My grandchildren loved the creek. We enjoyed the weekend, but the home definitely needed a "spring" cleaning. Fresh bedding is suggested, as well. "

"Even though we never made our S'mores, the stay at this home was perfect. It was very close to town and Lake Blue ridge. The cabin was very well stocked, with everything you needed. Diane, the host, was very informative and had seen to each detail. We did not take full advantage of the game room, since our kids were not with us, but the set up was perfect, for younger kids or teenagers, or just a group of fun adults. We recommend this property and would definitely stay here again."
"Cabin was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and very thoughtfully provisioned. We had all we needed wirhout having to bring our own things. Located conveniently between Blue Ridge and McCaysville, it made shopping easy. The owner was very responsive and communicated everything clearly. Will definitely be back!"
"Fabulous experience all round! Faith was very responsive and professional. The house is 6 mins from the sweet town of Blue Ridge and also all the major food and convenience shops.This house is ideal for a family gathering with lots of children as there are multiple places to hang out. Two of the lower level bedrooms don't have windows which I was unaware of but this was a blessing as the elementary age children slept longer!The smore's kit was a welcome gift which we managed to extend over two nights. Also, don't miss a visit to Mercier Orchards 7 mins away. We'd love to return!"
