Deerwood Cabin is a private, quiet retreat designed for rest and connection with nature. Tucked away in a peaceful setting just 4 miles from downtown Mentone and 4 miles from DeSoto State Park, this charming cabin offers both seclusion and easy access to local attractions.

The cabin features one private king bedroom and one bathroom, along with a cozy living room centered around a wood-burning fireplace—perfect for relaxing evenings. Vintage-inspired appliances add character and warmth while still providing modern comfort.

Enjoy multiple outdoor spaces, including a screened-in back porch, a large front porch, and an outdoor fire pit for quiet nights under the stars. A charcoal grill is available for casual outdoor meals, and deer are frequently seenwandering through the property.

Peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, Deerwood Cabin is an ideal getaway for couples or solo travelers looking to slow down and unwind—while still being just minutes from hiking, dining, and shopping.

This adorable space is also pet friendly with pet fee. Please note that it does not have a fenced yard, so you will need to bring a leash for walks.

This is our 2nd time staying here and it was just as great as the last time. The cabin was a great get away to relax and to rejuvenate ourselves, and the scenery was great. We will definitely make it a tradition to come once every year. Highly recommended staying here.

A Nice Rustic Cabin

The cabin had everything we needed and was conveniently located. Enjoyed hiking and trips into Mentone and Valley Head.Unfortunately, the gravel roads were not in good condition.

Anniversary get a way

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well supplied and very clean. The huge mattress was great and the electric blanket was very warming! Well stocked with firewood and charcoal which we enjoyed.

Simply romantic

Our lives have been so busy with work, kids, and dogs, that we forgot to focus on romance. This place made it happen. Quiet and Secluded, but accessible. We had a fire inside with our morning coffee. Then an evening bonfire out back with smores. Loved that we got to reconnect.agreat little cabin

Wonderful, isolated cabin in a very quiet area. The cabin floor plan is one of the best we have seen. Watching the deer was a new experience for my wife. She totally loved it.

Secluded cabin in the woods

We loved this adorable little cabin and its surroundings! We were very comfortable and cozy, and were so pleasantly surprised at all the firewood that they had for us! We enjoyed several fires in the fireplace. Everything was wonderful and we would definitely come back!!
