The hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Menaggio! It's not a huge property so it's quiet and has a family run, boutique feel and you can really feel the love put into the property. The breakfast spread was the huge and delicious! The staff was friendly. As others have noted it is a trek up a hill to get to the property if you don't have a car. My husband and I were able to do it with our luggage, but we pack light and it was a bit strenuous. If you have a few bags especially roller bags I'd...

This is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed. The room was very large with a beautiful patio overlooking Lake Como. The breakfast was large and amazing serving foods from their own private gardens. Mary and her staff are outstanding and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Don’t miss a chance to stay here! The area to eat breakfast is also a large porch overlooking the lake. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The peacefulness and seclusion of this spot was a nice break from...

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rita takes very good care of you like she is your own Italian Nana. The food at the restaurant is home made by her and delicious. The rooms are nice and our view was great. It is a bit of a walk up the hill from Varenna, but nothing a cold beer won't make you forget. Overall highly recommended.

Outstanding visit--very classy place! Felt like an Italian princepessa in her family palazzo! Shopping out the front door, excellent meals at 1-star Michelin restaurant, Mistral, and the lakeside cafe. Breakfast was an unexpected feast, beautifully presented. Staff could not be better, Concierge happy to help with the smallest of questions and details. Lake Como is stunning, and Serbelloni is well-known for excellence in this part of the world.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.

The staff was amazing. The location of the hotel is amazing in front of the lake. They are very helpful. They arranged all our trips. They arranged for us a boat trip around Lake Como. The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Switzerland (only behind the 5 stars hotel we stayed in Zurich), great selection with authentic Italian grilled veggies, cheeses, ham ,...
