"We had a great time playing games borrowed from the lobby games library. The hitel creates a very social atmosphere that we really liked. We could have used a couple more amenities in the room such as a glass to have a drink of water to take medications and there was not a chair to sit on or a bench to place our suitcase."

"Close to the centre of Gent with a tram stop directly outside to take you to the train station, or a 20 minute walk. Beds comfy, rooms clean and warm ,shower hot, good for the price. Cafés nearby if going out for breakfast. Other guests were noisy late one evening but this was quickly resolved by the night staff. The walls are a little thin. I have stayed here before some years ago and would stay again. "

"Das Chaelt war (bis auf wirklich Kleinigkeiten) sehr sauber. Es war wirklich alles vorhanden. Die Ausstattung war wunderschön, groß, modern und gemütlich. Einzig ein wenig Wiese htte den Fellnasen gefehlt. Wir hatten eine riesige, umzäunte Terasse, aber leider kein Stück Wiese. Da aber der Strand ganz nah war und die Temperaturen auch fürdie Fellnasen nicht so waren, dass sie sich draußen hingelegt haben, stellte das dann doch kein Problem dar. Chalet A26. "Absolutely stunning hotel! The room I stayed in was on the top floor and had solid wood floors and angled ceilings, even in the bathroom! Smelled so good like fresh, bright wood. Beautifully carved matching antique wood furniture as well- beureau, desk and bed frame. A really peaceful and clean feeling energy. The hotel lobby is full of gorgeous antiques and beautiful art everywhere, soft jazz and classical music being played and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Really elegant...

Cons: restaurant closed on Sundays and Mondays, you can’t get any food from hotel on this days. No room service available. Ventilation grids (a least in my room) have a lot of dust accumulated on it. My opinion - if you declare your property as “4 stars hotel with restaurant”, such service must be available 7 days a week and not only 5. "

"This property was clean as you would expect from a new build. We found that is was too small for a couple, and in my opinion this was not a studio but a very small room with very small kitchen. No where to relax after a long apart from a bed and a dinning chair. We have stayed at the apartment round the side of the arches and that is where we thought we had booked again as this apartment was excellent."
