Surrounded by sea and moutnains and amongst the local wildlife. Amenities in the kitchen and laundry were certainly above average and the rooms and bathroom were simple but all you needed. The beds and bedding were great. Plenty of hot water too. Lots of little morning and night guests greeting us for some snacks. A wonderful place to visit and sit and watch the ever changing view. My only disappointment was that there is no walking access to the beach from the house. "Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park."

"The unit was clean and well presented with very comfortable beds. Unfortunately we needed subtitles on the television as the sound quality was so poor. If we were to stay again we would request a front unit as the back units are quite dark."
