Sun preparing to set in this remote state park just east of McArthur by 3.5 miles. To reach the park go east on Main Street after 1/2 mile veer right and cross over the McArthur Diversion Canal. Follow the unmarked dirt road another 3 miles to Rat Farm boat launch and voila you're there!
To actually access the park (which is boat in only) you need a kayak or shallow boat to paddle across Big Lake

Beautiful warm home
We enjoyed our stay at the Albaugh family guest house. The views were amazing. There is a great view of Mt Shasta and Mt Lassen. We enjoyed watching the cows move around in the pasture. A convenient location. We would stay again
