"This was our second year staying here and we just love it. House is clean, bright, and open. We have three young kids and they just adore the bunk bed room and the backyard exploring and sledding. You really can’t beat the location as a home base for Cloudcroft and Lincoln National Forest, and even White Sands was a short day trip away. Ian is friendly and responsive and we hope to be back next year as well!"

"We enjoyed our stay and the cabin plus the campground were delightful. However, we booked this place primarily for the hot tub that was blatantly false advertised. Though it seems there is one, and why I was willing to pay the price I did, we were informed nonchalantly upon arrival that there is not a hot tub. Our host explained that it will be back in May but we wouldn’t have known until we got the abrupt explanation upon arrival. Great place for a getaway and beautiful scenery. But please, be courteous to guests that are paying top dollar for a special engagement weekend that we’re counting on a promised amenity. THUMBS DOWN"
