「This was an absolutely beautiful little cabin tucked away in the woods, yet still not too far from gas stations, etc. The home was full of thoughtful touches and we enjoyed sitting on the dock and admiring the lake, cooking out on the grill and having a quiet fire during our short stay. The host, Elizabeth, was very kind and responsive! This was the perfect getaway for us to enjoy some downtime on our road trip!」

「We absolutely loved our stay at The Gardener’s Cottage! It was so cute and cozy and just had a really calm, peaceful feel to it. The bed was super comfortable, the air got COLD 😂 which we loved, and that bathtub was HUGE! We were both able to get in and soak comfortably. Breakfast is included with the stay, and although our cottage didn’t have a full kitchen like some of the others, they provided fresh waffle batter and a waffle maker so we could make our own and those waffles were sooo good!...

「Cute cottage, loved the little side yard. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. My only suggestions would be the shower needs updating, little closed in and dark feeling and the couch maybe a cover as it has a few stains, but these are definitely not anything that would ever stop us from staying again. First of all, if you want to book this stay, know that there is an extra fee you will be hit with AFTER the refundable deadline and BEFORE your stay. The host adds a surprise charge right before you arrive, calls it a "booking fee" when it's absolutely not, and pretends like it was discussed upfront when it wasn't. 「The cabin was not prepared and cleaned upon arriving. The air conditioner in the living room did not blow cold air, with the unit set on high, barely any air come out the vents. The back door was held close with a shoe string. This Home reminds me of what you would see in a trailer park. The host did refund me my cleaning fee. Vrbo also took care of me also. The pictures that are listed on the listing do not do justice to what it actually is there. I was highly disappointed on this trip. Lesson...
