Enjoy the peaceful, timeless, surroundngs of an antique filled, 1920’s log cabin. Restored with an old world flair, with all the amenities. Central heat/air, laundry, wifi,, netflix, no cameras. Tune out of the world, and relax, or take a short drive to plug back into the action of Hot Springs. 15 minutes from downtown, and the racetrack. 2 queen beds in seperate rooms, 1 bathroom, and large screened-in sunporch. Outdoor seating areas complete with fire pit and grill, perfect to sip wine, and relax. Kitchen, including refridgerator, electric stove, toaster oven, coffee pot, microwave, vintage dishes and cookware. comes with Wi-Fi and the SmartTV has Netflix account INCLUDED . Lake area log cabin. Built in the 1920’s as a formans cabin, with Deeded Lake Catherine main channel access for rowing, paddle. Breath taking view of Lake Catherine right up the road. Mountain area with botanical gardens close by at Garvin Woodland Gardens, hiking trails, amusement parks, natural Hot Water springs, and even a Thoroughbred Horse racetrack with gaming casino. Birthday Weekend Get Away

The cabin was a great location to sightsee the Hot Springs area! It was clean, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The cabin is decorated beautifully with all things vintage. We loved our weekend and would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful quiet property!

All of the other reviews are accurate; this is a great little place on a quiet, secluded road. The cabin is full of fun decorative touches and the beds were both super comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Rustic Getaway

A perfect little cabin filled with special touches to make your stay special. Check in was easy and the cabin was very clean and fully stocked. The place was quiet, peaceful and secluded. When the lights are turned off, it is very dark. We would definitely go back.

Honeymoon Trip

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing! From the peace and quiet at this location, to the moments of experiencing nature with the neighborhood deer, to the details in the decor of the house, it was a wonderful stay! We definitely recommend spending time at this getaway!It is only minutes from the downtown area and local places to visit and explore. The views from North mountain are really great, even at night, for a glowing view of the city! Definitely a location to experience!AAA for this cabin and host!

Perfect!

We had the best sister’s mini vacation! We are already planning our next visit! We had suppers on the back patio with the fire going. We slept great! We unplugged and relaxed which was much needed! Romantic Oasis

Our second time to stay at this wonderful little cabin. Perfect for a weekend getaway, and you don't even mid the rain as it dances upon the tin roof and casecades across the window views of the forest just outside the bedroom and porch! From the moment we leave to go to the cabin and until several days after - we are awash with joy and happiness at just the thought of our time at Julie's beautiful, romantic oasis!

Exactly as advertised

Overall had a great time. It was clean, loaded with supplies, cabin heats/cools very quickly, no noisy neighbors, its far away from town, so its dead silent at night. Its still close enough that everything is only 10-15 minutes away.My only issue was the lack of chairs/sofa, for relaxing. I'd highly recommend this for a couple, but for a group of 3 or more, a bigger cabin may be a better fit.Otherwise, we had a blast and would definitely book again.iffor relaxing indoors.

Amazing experience

This was the most amazing experience. It was perfect! So comfortable. We were in awe of the house! We loved the way it is decorated! The fire-pit was great! It was so cozy. Julie was very communicative. We were so intrigued with the house and she answered our questions quickly. It was also only about 10 minutes from town. So it was nice feeling way out of town but still could run to town quickly if we wanted to.The perfect place

Absolutely Wonderful

This place is stunning to say the least. Julie really thought about everything! From the landscaping, the decor, the board games and books, to the rustic-ness of this cabin, it is absolutely perfect!! It is located in a quiet and cozy corner of a beautiful wooded area. If you are looking to escape from the busy city life, I suggest you visit this place!

Privacy, tranquility, time to sit back and enjoy the small things. Beautiful artsy nod to a charming past of a home. Plenty of what you need and none of what you don't. House is clean and the street below is quiet. Plan to walk your bags up an incline with a few steps but well worth it.

What Julie has created is simply amazing. Walking into her cabin was like stepping back in time in the best ways. You can see she put so much attention and love into this cabin, it was perfect. Everything was extremely clean, heat and air worked perfectly, hot water was plenty which impressed us so much with it being an older home. The nearby attractions are close and easy to travel to by car. We are already planning another trip to come back and stay next year. Don’t think, just book here! You will not regret it!

The Best Time

We were very pleased with the accomadations! Eveything was better than described. We spent an hour just exploring the premises and the house. If your looking for quaint you will not only enjoy the amenities but also the antiques and other novelties in the cabin. We will definately stay again if we get back that way!! The only negative I can think of was the stove was unlevel. Other than that it was wonderful!
