「The property was affordable and convenient for our families needs. Was surprised that there was no shower but managed ok with a bath. It was difficult at first to find the property off the main road as there was no signage. Other than that it was good. 」

「DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!!!! The hotel exists but states they do not have a contract with Expedia. We showed up to our pre-paid booking confirmed by Expedia and the hotel told us that our booking didn’t exist due to not having an agreement with Expedia. The hotel was fully booked which left us out a lot of money, which the hotel also mentioned was not consistent with their rate which was multiple times lower than the noted rate through Expedia. 「WILL NOT HONOR YOUR RESERVATION. A member of my party arrived on the check in date with the confirmation from Hotels.com. The concierge informed them there was no record of the reservation and that the KESMO LODGE DOES NOT WORK WITH HOTELS.COM. Hotels.com worked with me to resolve the issue, but the Kesmo Lodge was completely absent and not part of the solution. 」

「Arrived early and were cheerily checked in at once. Lovely room with kitchenette. We thought we were getting a king bed plus sofa bed, but the manageress got the maid to make up 2 singles so we both slept well. Well stocked kitchen: only thing that stopped a 10/10 score was lack of oven (we did not notice this before shopping and ended up googling how to cook pizza without one on our second night there!). 「Hotel was great. Manager worked hard to make sure everything was good for us. It was a nice treat to have a kitchen in the room. The hotel also washed my car as a special surprise for the morning. One of the best hotels in my travels across Africa (7 countries). Breakfast was great.」
