"Good location and friendly staff"

"A gem of a hotel with lovely location besides Ulswater"

"Staff very welcoming. Food really nice and very filling. Perfect stay for us. Thankyou"

"Really cosy and a lovely place to stay - I stayed on my own and the staff were friendly, the food was good and the room was really comfortable and spacious. The location is great as there are walks starting in Glenridding meaning you haven't got to drive anywhere and it was a quieter area. My only grumble is that it would have been nice to use the bath but it was so grubby and I didn't fancy laying in the tub."

"Very nice for a quiet getaway in the North Lakes"

"Stayed whilst visiting the Lakes. Hotel was perfect for us as a family with children age 10 to 16. The buffet breakfast was a good selection, children loved the pancake machine. We also loved the pool, you had to pay extra but I felt this was worth it, the pool was a good size and steam room, sauna and jacuzzi nice for adults to relax. The hotel had a nice atmosphere, nice reception area with lovely open fire to sit by."

"Couldn't recommend more highly. Incredible food, room, and great location. We drove back to eat on our last two visits. Both times, we'd already moved on to stay elsewhere; that says it all!"

"Great place to stay and breakfast was excellent"

"Great stayed and friendly staffs."

"10/10. Absolutely charmed by the grounds, award-winning gardens, and lovely owner."

"Loved the place even stayed an extra night. Will definitely be back. Food is amazing."

"The house is well maintained, the staff very friendly, breakfast was fine and centrally located."

"Booked the stay as a present for my parents and they really enjoyed their stay. They noted the food, friendliness and rooms as their highlights and things that made their stay great. The next trip to Penrith will definitely be stayed at the Agricultural Inn."

"ideal location, friendly staff, clean room."

"Breakfast staff were brilliant!"

"A great stay!"

"Very nice stay"

"Excellent 2 night stay on HB, nice room, very good food, and lovely staff."

"The room was clean beside a blood stain on one of the duvets. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was an issue as the road was being resurfaced, but the staff did tell us where the best place to park was. The breakfast was excellent, it really set us up for a day in the hills. Overall a good value room for visiting the Lakes."

"Absolutely fantastic stay, room was perfect, very clean and tidy, staff lovely and welcoming and breakfast was brilliant! Will definitely stay here again!! "
