Where to stay in Matakana Coast Wine Country

Visiting my brother in Matakana in the New Zealand's North Island I spent a whole day in Tawharanui Regional Park a whole 7 hours exploring beauty. This park and marine reserve is huge with Two beaches and a lagoon 💚. You can camp here or hire a regional Bach if your lucky. It is also a park with native Kiwis , my goal is to camp here on another trip one summer 🙏🏻

Check out the bars, wineries, and beaches while spending some time in Campbells Beach. Though there might not be many attractions in the neighborhood, you won't need to go far to find top spots like Baddeleys Beach or Buckleton Beach.

Wonderful property. Lovely grounds and pool. Great little touches with bread and snacks left for us on arrival. Hosts were very friendly and even let our daughter feed the sheep, which she loved!

The manager was easy to access. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Great quiet location. Bird life was great. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything to make the stay comfortable.
