The gite is specious downstairs and the kids (and dog!) absolutely loved playing with the donkeys and the turtles. We were offered to purchase a home-cooked meal which was generous and tasty. "Lovely house with loads of character. Excellent for large groups as loads of space. Limited wardrobes that were usable ! Shame that the outdoor pool kept loosing water and the lining was a bit green so we didn’t use it. Lovely owners very helpful and a very helpful local lady. Nice village. We had a lovely stay. Thank you Frabrice for the wheelchair ramps they worked a treat!"

"We had planned a stop enroute to the south of France. It was chosen as a country location that would be quiet. It satisfied that requirement. It was a little difficult to find as TomTom for some reason had it in the middle of Lapalisse. Once that was sorted it was easy."

The public areas were fresh and clean, the bedroom was roomy and an added bonus we weren't expecting was air conditioning (especially as we were there in the middle of a heat wave).
