"Excellent place to stay to explore the eastern portion of the Shawnee National Forest. We used it as a launching point to see the Garden of the Gods, Cave in Rock, and Dixon Springs State Park. Wish we had another day to do more exploring. The cabin is secluded, so stock up on groceries and charcoal for the grill before you arrive. "We stayed here while working on a project, and it was honestly one of the best stays I’ve had. The house was super clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The neighborhood felt safe, the neighbors were friendly, and the location was very convenient with a grocery store just a couple blocks away and a great pizza place nearby.I would definitely stay here again. "All the comforts of home! The house was well appointed with all the necessities and even allowed use of the attached garage. The furnishings were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The host, Susan, was responsive and went above and beyond to insure our experience was positive. The location of the home, despite close proximity to an airport, was peaceful. It was outside of city limits, but everything was easily accessible - grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants....
