"I've been meaning to stay in this property for the last few years, but never managed to get there. The house exceeded our expectations. Although it was quite warm for October we didn't manage to use the pool. However, it was just nice to sit outside and eat or have a glass of wine and watch the sun set towards Castelo de Vide. We are already looking to go back sometime next summer."

L'accueil, les équipements (agrandissement de la piscine très appréciable, zones ombragées, etc.), le confort de l'appartement et les services (pain frais tous les matins derrière la porte !) sont professionnels. La région est splendide, contraste d’éléments naturels (chocs granitiques, chênes lièges, oliviers, etc.) ponctués de rares villages...dont Marvao (la perle encore peu fréquentée) et la belle découverte de Castelo de Vide. "This is an old building which has been nicely upgraded. It was roomy and comfortable. I was an excellent place to stay in order to visit historic sites. Dropped off bread and tarts were a nice unexpected treat."

"This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The hotel was extremely charming with excellent staff. It’s located within the castle walls and near the entrance of the castle, which is open 24/7. The hot tub area is by reservation only (no charge), so me and my husband drank wine and watched sunset all by ourselves. They also provide thick robes in the bedrooms for this. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options to choose from: meats, cheeses, cereal, fresh pastries, fruit and more. Highly recommend staying at this lovely Inn. "
