Tapada da Beirã - Private Room in House

Room with private access from outside (parking area). It has a bathroom and a breakfast bench. Large window overlooking the village and the countryside. Inviting place to explore the natural environment, history and cuisine of the region.
The village of Beirã is an excellent starting point for discovering the historical villages of Marvao (10 km) and Castelo de Vide (12 km) with their medieval castles, as well as the route of the Jewish presence (Castelo de Vide and Valencia de Alcântara). ). The ancient Roman city of Ammaia (São Salvador da Aramenha) is 13 km away. In the region there are abundant traces of the Celtic presence (tapirs, menhirs). In the area there are several pools, some inland (Toll, Castelo de Vide, Serra de São Mamede). The region is ideal for walking and cycling. The village is well situated for discovering nature in the São Mamede Natural Park. Among the region's numerous popular festivals are the Chestnut Fair in Marvão (weekend in November) and the Al Mossassa - Marvão Islamic Festival (weekend in October).
