A lovely hotel. I think it’s family run and very friendly and helpful. Very clean and they have a restaurant for lunch and dinner as well as breakfast.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Dom Manual. This was in the most stunning locations I've ever seen. The couple running the hotel were beyond kind and lovely. Do not miss this stop.

A beautiful hotel in an amazing village. Breakfast was also great with pancakes and scrambled egg included plus the normal pastries, bread, yoghurt, cheese, meat and fruit! We managed to park right outside the hotel (4 spaces) but there is also a public car park in the same area. A walk around the walls and castle of Marvão is thoroughly recommended - marvellous 360 views!

Great family run hotel. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable always happy to help and advise. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was a very relaxing and comfortable time away for us. We would highly recommend and definitely come back for another visit

We had the perfect stay at Dom Manuel! This family run hotel is warm, welcoming, and staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was a large variety of foods available at breakfast to suit every taste, and when we chose to dine at the hotel restaurant, the service was impeccable and the food divine.

The hotel is a gorgeous little jewel in the middle of a medieval town, beautiful spot. What makes it wonderful is the attention we received from the staff, every single interaction was extremely positive, they went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The food was amazing too. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone in search of a very unique experience in Portugal.

This hotel was an absolute gem! We stayed in a very comfortable room with a breathtaking view of the plains of Spain and the town castle. The bathroom was recently remodeled. The hotel employees could not have been more hospitable. The restaurant was great for lunch and breakfast.

This is a lovely small hotel to stay in the walled village. You can park right in front which is a huge plus. We booked a triple room and it was spacious. I think the others are on the small side. Everything was spotless! Comfy bed with soft sheets. Our room was cold and it turned out our heat didn't work, but there were balnkets in the closet and that did the trick. Had a bowl of the traditional tomato soup for dinner and it was hearty and delicious!

This is a sweet little inn in the mountain top castle town of Marvao. We came in early November when it was foggy and/or raining the whole time. The hotel was modest but charming. The window in our room was wet and drafty and I got a little sick but this probably wouldn’t have been an issue at a different time of year. Nice place.
