Excellent stay at Cabecas do Reguengo.

Excellent stay at Cabecas. Location is in a rural location on the outskirts of Portalegre, definitely need a car as some of the hills are challenging- specially in the heat of summer. Friendly and efficient check-in, very classy room, in fact the whole place is lovely. Great room with huge comfy bed and the kind of bathroom I wish I had at home. Good sized terrace over-looking the cool infinity pool, which itself looks out over the rural surrounding landscape. Breakfast was good and the rest of the guests were a mix of Potuguese and European.

An absolute gem in the Serra de S.Mamede!

Amazing place, in the middle of a lovely part of Alentejo. Staff were really helpful and friendly, particularly considering we arrived late but they still managed to get us some snacks as we were starving and a bottle of the delicious wine they produce in the farm! We were very sorry to have booked only one night, the place is perfect for nice walks, long rests by the pool and to enjoy some of the best stuff the area offers.
