Beachfront Bliss Apartment

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed for four nights in this lovely well appointed apartment. It had everything we needed including bowls and biscuits for our dog. It's one of eight apartments in a modern building right on the coastal path with an allocated parking space underneath. It is right in the middle of Dymchurch and is a great place to watch the world go by. The village has everything within easy walking distance including a small Tesco with long opening hours. There's a great choice of cafes, pubs and fish & chip shops - the ice cream parlour directly behind the apartment is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful location very peaceful, slept soundly very relaxing place to stay. On the website it states we would be getting a welcoming bottle of wine from local company, we got a bottle of Apple juice instead, we were looking forward to sitting outside with a glass of wine the Apple juice though very nice not quite the same. All other items listed as little extras were there yummy marsh mellows and delicious granola, tea and coffee. We paid for a breakfast the bacon, sausage and eggs were very good quality good value for money. The only other comments are the shower mat needs replacing as grubby, the large rainfall shower head needs a good descale as water going in all different directions, we had one towelling bath robe the other one was a worn fleece robe that had seen better days. There were some lovely fairy lights above the inside window sadly they didn’t work, the outside fence was weathered and needs propping up did add to the charm of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend as very good value. The check in information though online was all very welcoming and efficient."

"We had an absolutely amazing time at The Romney!! The hut was beautiful and cozy, and the outdoor bath is a great addition. It has everything you could need and we were kindly left with lots of amenities which was lovely to arrive to! The local area was beautiful and there were lots of things to do. Kristina was so kind and friendly, making sure we could easily get in contact if needed and that we had a lovely time, which we absolutely did. We would 100% come back!"

"The Nest is very comfortable, well equipped and cosy. It is in an amazing location, our Labrador loved the garden and he was safe as it was well enclosed. We sat in the garden many evenings enjoying the atmosphere and popping up to the sea wall to look at the stunning view. Everything was provided to make your stay easy and relaxing, with a bottle of wine on arrival. A very relaxing holiday, will definitely book again."

"Overall we had a great stay at the Ship Inn . Staff were lovely especially the male member of staff who served us in the restaurant with drinks and food . He went over and above to please had a wonderful friendly personality . A great asset to the team . Sorry we didn’t get your name . The down sides were the mattress in the Royal room needs replacing and we were kept awake until 1am by either an argument going on or very loud animated talking ! The absolute positive of our visit was the food . Excellent both evening and breakfast . 5 star . Fresh produce and well prepared . Thank you chef 👌. I would recommend a visit to the Ship Inn ."

"The sunsets directly in front of the cabins were stunning, with the landscape constantly changing throughout the evening. There was a wonderful sense of calm as the world slowly darkened and it was time to settle in for the night. The children loved being outdoors, relaxing, exploring nature and playing freely. Feeding the lambs was an added treat and a lovely seasonal experience. The location is perfect for enjoying the countryside, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, BBQs over open wood fires, and the beach less than ten minutes away for scenic coastal strolls. The huts petit yet perfectly formed, with thoughtful touches and attention to detail that made the stay feel comfortable and unique. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return."
