「I loved being in the mountains in nature. Beautiful property. There are bugs birds and even a chipmunk, lovely view. Simple Breakfast was included. A bit far from the city. Wifi was down when i arrived but i had backup. I would totally go back, it is a great escape and very reasonably priced. 」

The pool area needs to be better maintained as the decking needs to be replaced before it collapses when someone walks on it. The rooms need updating. Once the new owners take possession, maybe hey will make the necessary improvements. We would love to return once upgrades have been completed. 」

「While it is not walkable to town, it is a beautiful, quiet, secluded oasis with a lovely garden, spectacular birds and an incredibly warm and helpful staff who helped us order dinner to be delivered and made us one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. I swam in a pristine Olympic sized pool, I saw several iguanas, and I don't know how many bird species and in the ceiling of my room, what I thought was a mouse, was actually a bird nest with new hatchlings, which was a bit disturbing when I was sleeping. 「The Bamboo was a great apartment hotel for a one night stay in San José. We had airline problems/last minute cancellation with American Airlines and didn't get in until late. The hotel made sure someone was there late and when we needed to go out to meet up with local friends they provided us with the garage gate opener. The breakfast was a great local home made dish.」
