Unfortunately, the summer heat kept us indoors, and a local burn ban meant we couldn’t enjoy the fire pit—but even unused, the amenities added to the sense of care and hospitality.Despite the weather limitations, the property itself was a gem. We’d love to return during cooler months to take full advantage of everything it offers. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful, well-appointed escape near the bourbon trail, especially Maker’s Mark that was about a 10 min or less drive!"

"They are in the process of updating the hotel; we had loose plug ins but compared to the comfort and service offered it was not a concern. Breakfast was mostly carbs but there was yogurt with cane sugar. It would be rough for diabetic and there was plenty of coffee, thank you! "
