「Loved the breakfasts—lots of choices. The hosts were lovely. The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. It was an easy walk to restaurants, pubs and York City Center. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

「Cannot rate the staff, this is a self service hotel, but it’s really easy, you’ll get a couple of codes the day of your stay. The hotel is right in the heart of the shambles, as a tourist that’s exactly the area where you want to be. The hotel is like nothing that you ever have experienced before, I can guarantee it. Without spoiling your experience I will tell you that my hard-to-please teenager was flabbergasted with the experience, he said it’s in his top 5 hotels in the world. 」
