"Out check-in was slow. The girl was having a conversation with another worker, the whole time we were trying to get checked in. Our room was near the front lobby. Everytime the door from the lobby to the rooms closed it made a loud bang. It went on into the evening make it impossible to sleep. The first day we did not have hot water in our room & the elevator was broke. The beds & linens are nice. The room had 2 bars of soap & a small shampoo. No over amenities like Kleenex or a coffee maker. It was a very basic room. We only stayed 2 nights, so it would have been nice to have a few more amenities. "

"At almost a thousand dollars a night; you expect more out of a property. Feels like a $129 hotel in any other city. "

"There was a commotion involving a guest who was screaming and crying about her boyfriend who had beaten her, and he was trying to get into the locked lobby when I arrived. He beat on the door and broke a portion of the french door mullion, he then ran off and had to be caught by police. The woman "victim" was staying just down from my room, and continued to make loud noises with her door open until after 2:00am. My door locking mechanism only worked intermittently. Handyman "fixed" it, but it still didn't work well - door would not open with three different keycards. Interior "hardwood" floor was filthy. Remote control had only a few features on it and I could not get a channel "Menu" with the small remote. Reception office did not know how to operate the TV. Numerous guests were loitering on the nearby stairs well into morning hours (2 to 3 am) smoking marijuana and speaking loudly. "
