"The Solitaire was perfect for my needs while visiting my son who lives in the Pankow neighborhood. The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good. The neighborhood was upscale. Public transportation (bus) stops in front of the building, or 8 minute walk to mainline tram. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I plan on staying there again when I travel back to Pankow."

"The sixth floor terrace wasn’t advertised but was really nice to enjoy with a drink and appetizer from the bar and grill downstairs. It had a great view. Loved all the handy shelves in the room!"

"Directly across from the main train station which makes it convenient. Train station has shopping for food, toiletries, etc. The hotel has a luggage storage area. If you get there early and your room is not ready or you are leaving late and have already checked out and one to still explore the city. I gave it five stars because you get Great value for the price but there are some things that aren't perfect. The room is small but the bed and and pillows are comfortable. You only get one comforter, no blankets etc Because there is no closet. This is a really small room. The bathroom is about the size of the one an our RV, No door on the shower so of course that's typically happens in European bathrooms. The floor gets wet. There is also no vent in the bathroom so all the mirrors etc. Get steamy and the room gets stuffy. We had to open the windows when showering. We were there in the summer. Windows and doors securely shut so it makes it very quiet in the room, no hallway noise, no outside noise other than the miscellaneous siren. Front desk staff for pleasant and helpful with instructions on food etc. You could walk from here to almost any site and the pickup point for the big bus tour that you can purchase and almost any City is about a 5-minute walk on the other side of the train station. We took the bus tour but we're able to walk around to almost every single tourist area in Berlin from this hotel. We didn't use any of the amenities or the restaurant. Can you eat all day"

"Will definitely visit this hotel again when in Berlin lovely and friendly staff. The bar staff are really nice and make excellent cocktails highly recommended 👍. The location is also great we walked everywhere but you can also take the tram or train which is a short walk away from the hotel."

"A down side was the pool was a little chilly and then was closed for a portion of our stay. The hotel also allows smoking on balconies. So, this can make the room quite unpleasant for non-smokers. The kitchen and full laundry was much appreciated! The location is also amazing if you plan on using the trains or trams."
