"Helpful and flexible with uncertainty over bookings, and the accommodation was at least satisfactory in general... but there was drastically inadequate parking for a full hostel, and we were not given all the necessary info about how to gain access to the buildings ! ( a helpful resident who happened to be up late saved us from standing outside in the cold and dark. Make sure the person on the desk not only gives over the FULL keypad entry number...but also HOW to access the key pad in order to actually press the numbers and symbols in! :-l"

"It is amongst the cleanest of this sort of accommodation I've stayed in and that's the biggest draw - as an asthmatic and having stayed in a few properties in the area that have bad black mould and were dusty, the cleanliness is super important to me. There are a few things that could be updated in the property/some little things that could be provided to make a week's stay easier but nothing that puts me off booking. Very, very comfortable beds and the area is perfectly quiet at night. For us, Langcliffe is a great option as there are some lovely walks from the door, and is just a 15 / 20 minute walk from Settle proper, the perfect distance for a post-prandial or post pint walk in the evenings."

"We loved everything about Miller Cottage - its location in beautiful surroundings at the end of a quiet lane, the spaciousness of the accommodation, the separate dining area, log burner, quirky artwork and being able to walk from the cottage to the two nearest pubs. Definitely a cottage that we would like to stay in another time."
