"Very beautiful historic hotel very close to French Quarter, was perfect for getting ready for wedding as we needed a big suite and large lobby for gathering. The only complaint is that our room was not refreshed during the day and I would have appreciated it after a long day especially because this is a pricey hotel. I also don't like the 9 am knock on the door on checkout day when we can stay until 12. "

"Loved the Observatory bar with the view of the Mississippi River. Good light dinner there as well. "

"Room was good, staff were really nice. Surprisingly well sound-proofed, which I was worried about due to being close to Bourbon St. The only thing that woke us up was a fog horn every night at like 1:30am from the shipyard. I had earplugs, so I could sleep through it, but my friend was out of luck. The main inconvenience to note is that the wifi was terrible. They seem to have a tiered wifi system where the free wifi mostly doesn't work (at least, not in our room). I couldn't even get ON the wifi most of the time. I didn't pay for the upgrade, so I can't speak to how well that would work."

"Amazing Inn"

"Staff was awesome. Breakfast, also awesome. Our room…. Falling apart. Shower door was stuck and would only open on one side. Rusty and dirty tile. Clearly showing its age. The entry door to the room had clearly been kicked in before. The chain lock was just shoved back in place and was hanging loosely. Early one morning a very large rat was hanging out on the walkway, casually enjoying an early morning stroll. Beds were ok. The lobby was nice. Parking is TIGHT quarters. So don’t expect your larger suv to fit well. Also be aware that half the units are directly above parking. So you will hear any louder vehicles as if they are parking in the bed with you. Motorcyclist especially enjoyed hearing their engines rev at 6am. Woke up thinking we were experiencing Katrina’s revenge! Anyways, it wasn’t the worst place ever. Like I said, staff and breakfast was great. "

"Everything was awesome and great. It’s a beautiful hotel. Only issue was the water in the shower didn’t drain and the water in the sink did not drain. But I would stay there again absolutely "

"Breakfast could use some help. We were the second set of people to be there,( we eat early) and our eggs were cold and so were the grits. Also we fought the mattress cover all night. The staff put a queen size on a king so it kept coming off. When we requested a change from the cleaning staff on our floor. it will be done and there was never done. I went down to request from the front desk because it was a very busy rodeo weekend. It was a very long line and I didn’t have time to wait but I would try to call her down to the front desk. I would get a busy signal so we dealt with it. we tried the front desk first, and then we tried the cleaning staff.."

"Clean room, nice sheets & pillows, bathroom was clean but smelled of bleach (but was glad it was sanitized). Check-in was terrific, staff was very friendly and helpful."
