Our host sent us a wealth of great information about the area, things to do, etc. The cabin was just beautiful and the scenery so relaxing. This cabin is obviously kept up with love and we will definitely stay here again when we go back to Maggie Valley. Truly a gem!
This is absolutely the perfect place to stay! Home away from home with all amenities plus a hot tub! The cabin is so nice and spacious. The view is beautiful and it's literally 1 mile from the main road. I would highly recommend
The cabin was peaceful and comfortable, and that’s all we needed. You could hear the creek on the back deck, if it wasn’t so cold on our trip, I would have spent all my time sitting back there. The bed was so comfortable, and the cabin was roomy. I would 100 percent stay there again.
This is and amazing cabin in an amazing location! I LOVED the creek running through the property. I could sit on the deck and listen to the babbling creek all day. The cabin was cute and well stocked and the host was very helpful. The only bad thing about our trip was having to go home!!!
So cozy. Can hear the waterfalls from inside. Close to ski resort & tubing. Joey's Pancake House & Bear Waters were great & close. Best host I've experienced!
Out stay at the cabin was perfect. We stayed there and went to Cataloochee ski area. It rained solid for our stay, which made all the shrubbery lush and green. Water was flowing through crevices on all sides of the cabin which made us feel like we were in a rainforest. All the amenities were great and the hot tub and big plus.
We enjoyed our stay at the Creekside Hideaway 1 cabin. rLoved hearing the creek while rocking on the porch. The cabin was well equipped with all we needed. Thanks
We very much enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, secluded and relaxing. The house was well equipped and also had several, movies, books and even a game system with several games. There were also several board games to choose from. The hot tub was also nice.
The cabin was clean, welcoming, and charming. Lovely creek flowing through property with campfire ring to enjoy. Endearingly decorated and fully stocked. The location was convenient to our activities as well. Highly recommend!
Very clean. Anything you need in the kitchen. Amazing fire place. Great hot tub. The view from the rocking chairs on the porch was amazing. We woke up every day to hearing the creek.
The description of the property was spot on. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The owner sent emails with local attractions and restaurants in the area. The location was so convenient. We enjoy Pop's restaurant every morning and finished the week off with a steak at J Arthurs. The location is wonderful and pretty private. The stream out back of the cabin was like soundscapes. Would definitely stay again.
My family and I needed a few days to explore, rest, and introduce our kids to skiing at Cataloochee Ski. The location was perfect or it all. Very convenient location. Close to everything. On our drive out we realized it’s even closer to Waynesville and Asheville than we thoughy. The sound of the creek was really peaceful. Our kids fell in love with it and begged us to promise we will come back. Great place!
just a get away week. property was pleasant. Saw a young deer while sitting on the porch quite a surprise. Location of property was near everything in Maggie Valley
Beautiful, clean, great location. Only opportunity we saw was glassware.. no wine classes, no 2 glasses were the same, mostly plastic. Super easy remedy for a wonderful place. Would certainly revisit!
This cabin was perfect on everything! If is definitely secluded & quiet but still close to town. Very easy self check-in, clean, well equiped, soft beds. Loved the porch, hot tub & listening to the creek. Had fun sitting around the fire pit. (Bring your own wood though) Owner was quick with info for cabin & went out of her way to verify a fan was still there. Would for sure stay here again!
We enjoyed staying at this quaint cabin for a quick getaway. The location is very close to downtown Maggie Valley, but was quiet and mostly secluded. The property is rustic with a lovely back porch and very clean. Access was stress free. The property manager provided a great amount of detail about the surrounding area, which was extremely helpful for our first visit to Maggie Valley.
We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. Leading up to our trip, the owner sent us lots of information and she was very responsive. The cabin and hot tub were super clean. The location was perfect as it was 5 minutes to town (and a Dollar General for basic grocery needs) and only 20 minutes to the Cataloochee Ski resort, yet when you are at the cabin you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. The multiple streams in the backyard were beautiful and our kids had a great time exploring. I was surprised that the house did not have a dishwasher (I didn't notice that in the listing), so I would suggest bringing lots of disposable dishes. We would definitely stay here again.
Leslie was a very gracious hostess. Had an issue with the AC when we arrived there. They were there within 5 minutes and got the issue taken care of pronto! We fell in love with the back porch and the peaceful sound of the creek. Would highly recommend this place for those of you looking for rest and relaxation!
Great cabin for small family vacay. The driveway down to the house was tricky; a very sharp left turn. I had to stop; back up and then proceed every time to go down and back up from the cabin. There’s no way I would try it if it were to snow or ice over!! The “creek” that runs through the back is not much of a creek at all. No fish/fishing. However, it is relaxing to hear, especially after a good rain, while sitting on the porch. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfy!
