"Thanks to Expedia we had great deal for a 2 night stay in the villas away from the main hotel on the seafront overlooking the beautiful bay. Unfortunately the villa my sister was allocated was poky and completely in the shade under a big tree but the friendly helpful Reception staff were able to relocate her 1 villa away from mine. However, we were very disappointed with Breakfast facilities. Given the excellent position of the hotel, we would have expected to have an option to eat outside or at least with a good view but there were no windows. When we arrived for breakfast at 8am, most of the food had been taken by the big coach parties. Almost no fresh fruit and even the tinned fruit was not replaced. The fruit juice was heavily watered down & revolting. It was almost impossible to find spoons & teaspoons. The staff were very unhelpful & some of them quite rude. However, the scrambled eggs were very good & freshly replaced. You do need a taxi (don’t use Rosario he may be friendly but totally ripped us off in his battered old van!) or car to get to the little port where the cafes & restaurants are."

"We have had a fantastic stay (6 people) and all of us wished we had spent more time here. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms are spacious. The view from the house/balcony are spectacular and the landscaping around the house is lovely. Manola has been a wonderful host and provided us with some local food items, great restaurant recommendations (Kantuccio was fantastic) and information about the area. The house is stocked with everything you need. Manola also helped get us set up with Chef Julianna who came and prepared a meal of traditional Sicilian foods for us, which was delicious. It is possible to take the train to Palermo and Cefalu. We drove into Palermo and wished we had taken the train. Some reviews mentioned confusing trash rules but it’s really NOT complicated, you just separate your trash/recycling into bins that are all labeled."

"I loved this little gem. I went there on my honeymoon after getting married in Bagheria, and it was the perfect seaside retreat. We hosted a lunch in the restaurant following the wedding and the staff were exceptional. The hotel room was simple but very charming. We stayed in the romantic room which had the most beautiful sea view patio and terrace. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice, and included savoury options like eggs and meats and cheese which can be hard to find in sicily. Truly value for money (it cost less than our one room airbnb in bagheria) would reccomend to anyone who wants a boutique hotel experience near Palermo without the touristic noise. Location was also excellent and we would atroll less than five minutes to the little beach in santa nicolicchia"
