"This is a lovely, well-equipped apartment which has a spacious balcony with ever-changing views of the sea and the mountains. It’s only a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants of Porto da Cruz and only a short drive from the airport. We had a warm welcome (with Christmas cake!) from Carolyn. Recommended."

"We loved our stay in this great house. Ana was really welcoming and helpful, making us feel at home right away. The house is comfortable and well equipped and just a 10 minute walk from the sheltered sandy beach. The view from the balcony on the top floor is fantastic - we enjoyed sitting there in the sun for breakfast most days. Having a garage in the basement was an unexpected advantage, though you need to be confident driving to get in and out, which I found challenging at first in a hire...

"The room was awesome, directly above the sidewalk for people watching and directly on the ocean, could feel the waves crashing, just wonderful. The views are great, the salt water pool with wave crashing in, the blow hole and black sand beach 750meters to the east were fun. Nice safe little village, great inexpensive restaurants, loved the scabbard fish and Sangria."

"Super convenient for airport, beach, food and bis station for local activities and rest of island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and great balcony with sea view. Good buffet breakfast with a few options including cold, cooked, and sweet. Great location, with free parking a short walk (paid parking closer by, but rarely spaces available). New bathroom and amazing shower. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended."

"Very friendly reception. Room was a bit tight with an unnecessary additional single bed, but made up for by amazing balcony view. Worth staying here for this alone. Fabulous. Breakfast was rather basic and a bit strange (limited from a menu not buffet). Service was slow and my small plate of scrambled eggs with no accompaniments were stone cold when eventually turned up. Nice fresh bread rolls, though. Lift covers all levels including restaurant on ground floor - with street-level access is...
