"Our room was spacious and generally nicely appointed; however, it lacked storage space. No dresser, shelves or drawers in the bathroom. This meant that we heaped piles of clothes on the two chairs meant for casual seating. Otherwise, the hotel was great! Friendly and helpful staff, solid breakfast, luggage storage, and good dinner options on the nights we didn’t feel like going out in search of food. The hotel is also EXTREMELY well located in the CBD, which is very walkable. We would stay here again if in Christchurch."

"It's a quiet and peaceful stay, perfect for a short getaway, the room is spotless, also we got everything we needed there. Tim and his little helper, the Rottweiler are so friendly and enthusiastic. Overall is nice, would give them a 10 out of 10!"

"This is a lovely holiday home thank-you, with a lovely view, and nice and quiet. The home is warm and spacious. It was great having the master bedroom on the same floor as the open plan living, dining, kitchen area. We would definitely like to come and stay again sometime. The ferry trip over to Lyttelton for the Saturday market was terrific."

"We spent 5 nights in this property and it exceeded our expectations. The location is spectacular, watching sunrise each morning from the main bed was memorable. The thoughtful design features in the house including doubled glazed windows, fireplace with plenty of wood and heated floors in the bathroom made us feel cosy on winter days. Communication was easy and the owner/managers were very accomodating with our individual requests. Thanks for a great stay, we appreciated your property and highly recommend it."

"We had such a wonderful stay at Hamish & Ronene’s tiny house. Such a cozy, peaceful and warm refuge during the wintertime. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, watching the sunrise from the loft bed (super comfy!) and relaxing on the couch with the sun streaming through the window. The tiny house is in an unreal location - a short walk down to both Sumner and Taylor’s Mistake on beautiful trails. Hamish & Ronene are so lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommend! "
