The five-o-clock wine time was a lovely chance to chat with other guests from around the world. Very convenient location. Only downside is that it's an older building so the noise from Christchurch's boy racers can be irritating at night. A minor problem. We would definitely stay again."

At the time when I was booking this B & B with this site, VRBO, I did not realize this is an American owned company and therefore the price is in U.S. dollars....

"B&B style but not offer the breakfast. The breed and milk only will be charged $13 per person. The bathroom is dirty. "

"This is just a normal family house let out in rooms. It is not a guest house or hotel. One room has en suite the orhers share a bathroom. Shared kichen etc. Owner lives elsewhere and tried to move us from the en suite room we had booked. We stayed one night then moved elsewhere."

Gareth is the room mate of the owner. Gareth doesn't answer his phone or his messages. I'm now trying to get a refund.. don't stay here at all unless you want to lose your money"

No AC, only 1~2 heater(s) in the living room but not in the bedroom."

"Loved our stay in the hotel the bath was a real highlight! Really clean and it was quieter than I thought being directly next to such a busy junction. Anyway what we found a bit sad was that takeaway in the rooms are kind off not allowed, cause of the smell, that’s what we got from the info in the room, that was a bit sad as it was really rainy and we had our dinner in the car which was not really as we thought it would be and was not really romantic.
