"This was a very unique place to stay - the location is in a stunning wooded area next to the quaint town of Fivizzano. It was amazing how they built the home over an ancient olive oil mill too. The pool was so well maintained and a highlight for everyone. The owner and her manager, Karsten, were very responsive as well. We would recommend this amazing place to everyone."

"We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The views across the pool to the mountains are really lovely, and the villa itself is cool, spacious and well-equipped. We were a group of 8, so especially loved the fact that there were two dishwashers! The villa is in quite a remote location, with no shops within walking distance. If you are a nervous driver, you might find the mountain roads and the local style of driving a little challenging. The pool is glorious, the house is even nicer than it looks...

"Beautiful location, we had nice terrace to sit out on overlooking pool. Not sure all rooms as good. Rooms are in a partially restored village and quite basic but in character. Views of green hills and distant mountains great. We were surprised though that village is some 800 meters above reception and restaurant down steep road . Most people seemed to dive and we walked as we like to try local wine. Restaurant is great and reasonable priced, 60 Euro for tasting menu with local wine for two...
