A great hotel

The hotel is in a very good position, near to the jetty and all local eateries. Our room was great with partial sea view and view over the trees complete with monkeys. The room was comfortable and the balcony nice. Best of all the staff were wonderful from reception to catering to cleaning - all treated us well. My only gripes are that the hotel on the whole was only superficially clean and some of the hot food was less than hot but having said thatI would recommend the Orient Star.

Hotel was clean but in major need of an upgrade, No safe was disappointing, air-con did not work and pool was closed for maintenance which involved jack hammering starting early Saturday and Sunday mornings. It was close to mini mart and Main Street with a nice small beach out front.

Externally looks great but interior fittings are poor for this old building. Wifi is poor and kept cutting off for no apparent reason. Bathtub was dirty as appeared never been cleaned. TV reception is poor on a small tiny 24 inch size screen. Breakfast has improved with some variations but presence of houseflies appeared unhygienic. Housekeeping staff are erratic and sometimes did not even change bath towel or replace items used. Only a few odd wardrobe hangers per room. Disposable sandals are a joke. Valid for very short stays

Nice resort but sqeaking bed

Came here couple of years ago but its the first time stayed in. Nice environment. Reception staff friendly. Very spacious and nice from the lobby. The swimming pool makes a beautiful scenery. Room was clean but there's some little ants running around..they should perform some pest-control works. Water heater not working. The mattress was quite old and the bed makes squeaking sound when you sit on it, even when you sleep and turn the squeaking sound is there, not good.

上階の生活音が ひどかったためお部屋を変えて いただきありがとうございました。 配慮に感謝いたします。 まずエアコン、室外機共に 音がきになります。 建物の老朽化があります。 朝食も非常に難しいですね パンコール島、パンコールラウトは 週末現地の方たちもバカンスに来られるようで 島で滞在の予約が取れず 一旦ルムットに滞在しました。

Dirty , Poor & Non Hygenic Hotel.

Room is very dirty & breakfast is totally unhygenic as a lot of flies & foods not covered properly. Requested for Hair Dryer from receptionist but until next day check out also did not deliver to room. Will never visit this hotel anymore & will viral to social media to let people aware about the poor service & poor condition of this hotel !!
