Camera spaziosa ma sporca piena di ragnatele , le finestre e le tende piene di polvere . Tantissimo caldo non per colpa del'albergo ma essendo che non c'è l'aria condizionata e solo un ventilatore era molto difficile dormire . Purtroppo in 4 notti non é mai stata pulita la camera ne cambiati gli asciugamani. Bagno non finestrato e rimane caldissimo tutta la giornata . Di positivo c'è la posizione del'albergo, molto comodo raggiungere il centro di Lugano con i mezzi pubblici.

Die Lage zur Stadt und Busverbindung perfekt. Hotel ist von Hauptstrasse umgeben, sehr laut. Abends lief immer dasselbe Lied im Restaurant unter dem Fenster...etwas nervig. Während meines Aufenthalts (3 Nächte) wurde das Zimmer nie aufgeräumt. Nach der Dusche stand das Bad unter Wasser. Die junge Frau war zwar sehr freundlich, aber irgendwie fehlt die Beziehung zum Betrieb. Ich komme wieder nach Lugano, aber in eine andere Unterkunft.

Okay, first things first: you get what you pay for. This was a cheap option to stay in Lugano, and the location was amazing. I wouldn’t expect a 5 star resort for the money we paid. However, the room was dirty (think actual stuff and dirt under the bed, a sticky spot on the floor and cobwebs and dirt on the balcony) and was only cleaned a bit better when this was pointed out, the bed terribly uncomfortable and LOUD (if my wife moved a muscle, I was sure to know) and the whole place had a feeling of being abandoned. Felt very understaffed, and even though the two people we did get to see were super friendly and as helpful as they could be, they did feel overwhelmed. We stayed for four nights, didn’t have the breakfast or eat at the restaurant since it simply felt abandoned and empty, and spent as much time as possible outside of the hotel. Best price we could’ve gotten in Lugano, but I don’t it’ll survive much longer if the basic standard doesn’t improve.

Das Zimmer war sehr gross und man hatte viel platz. Jedoch was das Zimmer überhaupt nicht sauber. Im Badezimmer war es staubig und und es lagen überal Haare. Das Zimmer sah so aus als ich ein gecheckt habe. Das Ich habe das Personal darauf hingewiesen und nach 1 Tag wurde die hälfte vom Zimmer gesaugt. Die andere hälfte war immer noch staubig. Ansonsten war das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Super schneller Check in, auch vor 18:00 (Standard in diesem Hotel). Sauberes Zimmer und ein sehr bequemes Bett. Nostalgische Einrichtung passend zum altem Gebäude. Balkon mit See Sicht. Bushaltestelle gleich neben dem Hotel. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Lovely Stay!

We had a great stay at Hotel Firenze Lugano! The receptionist was so sweet and welcoming, which set a really nice tone for our visit. The location was perfect for us — we walked the Olive Trail to Gandria right from the hotel, and it was a beautiful and manageable distance. We also ate at the onsite restaurant and really enjoyed it — the food was lovely and the atmosphere was relaxed. While there’s no dedicated parking, we were able to find parking nearby without too much trouble. Overall, it was a very nice stay, and the view from the hotel made it even more special. Would happily stay here again!

Lucca and Lulu went over and beyond to make our stay extra special. Lucca offered to give us a ride to the airport at the last minute when we asked for help since we cannot book an Uber. We arrived at the train station just in time to catch our train to Malpensa airport. Excellent customer service.

Room 5 is part of a one and a half diamond property with a 3 and a half diamond view of Lake Lugano. Room was described as deluxe. Expedia or some one should give us partial compensation.

The service was excellent and we had a superb evening meal. We could walk to the lake, and there is an efficient bus service from just around the corner into town (and station). The disadvantage was the main road itself, which was noisy if you have the window open.
