The staff is absolutely amazing. Truly the kindest and nicest people out of our whole trip throughout Switzerland and Italy. It’s an older home but extremely clean and it’s very well kept. I normally never leave reviews but this place and staff truly stood out.

Great location and very nice rooms

The hotel was just below the train station but it was still very quiet. The rooms were updated and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold foods. We walked down the hill to dinner, sightseeing and shopping and took the tram up. Transportation was free because of the pass the hotel gives you. Excellent place to stay!

Most of the shops and restaurants are downhill so you’ll have a steep climb back to the hotel. Very close to everything and accommodations are very nice with complementary breakfast buffet. Would stay again.

Warm and friendly staff which went out of their way to make us feel wanted. Hotel Certaldo is within walking distance to Funicular for excellent food and spectacular views of country side. Location and staff were great. The walls are thin so it was pretty noisy because of the loud guests. Obviously the hotel can’t do much about that. The location and friendly staff made it a super pleasant stay.

The staff were very friendly. Our room including the bathroom was exceptionally clean. Disposable slippers and still and sparkling water were provided with a surprise.
