"Central location of hotel is excellent.
The room I was initially allocated had damaged drawers but the staff willingly offered an alternative room which was fine.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful - thank you for a lovely stay x"
"Beds were clean although mattresses needed changing .Hotel up for sale so no food or drink anywhere.Just a building to sleep in, but very convenient for shops,castle,prison and the river."
"The reception staf was helpful but not very polite. Room was nice but was cold in the morning as heating was switched off.. Id rather have no heating in the evening under the blanket then to wake up into a cold room. "
"Good communal area for children and staff were pleasant. However there was a very strong unpleasant smell thoughout the hotel and in the rooms. There was also large stains on the carpet in the hallways which were wet - we assume they had been recently cleaned. Breakfast was ok - however they had ran out off pastries when we attended at 9.30. Overall unlikely to stay again due to cleanliness/smell. "
"Very comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. Great location and handy to have parking on site which was £10 for the night. We were in room 305 and a bit of noise from people shouting in the street in the middle of the night. Not the hotels fault and to be expected when you right in city centre. Breakfast was decent. "
