Top Ludlow Hotel Reviews

Green Dragon Hotel
4/10 Poor
"The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly so we resorted to pouring bins of water down it. When we read reviews said that another couple had stayed in room 233 and had the same problem. Obviously not been fixed. Decore tired and very dark no outlook."

The Abbey Great Malvern
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent hotel great choice at breakfast, nice room Lots of seating areas to sit and relax or have a meal. Lovely restaurant with a good choice menu."

The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
10/10 Excellent
"Not far from the station inside the centre friendly staff and helpful lovely hotel"

Mercure Telford Centre Hotel
8/10 Good
"It's not the best example of a four star hotel. I wouldn't give it that rating - maybe a good 3 star. It's not very fancy. The layout is rubbish. I had to walk through the leisure centre to get to my first floor room. I don't know why the stairs were so far away from reception. Odd. The bed gave a comfortable sleep. The room was a bit noisy because it was near a connecting door but apart from that, it was a good size. The shower and the toiletries were fine. You could tell that the hotel was a bit dated but the decor was fine. We were having poor weather for May, so I appreciated the radiator being on. The breakfast was a reasonable standard. It had some local produce which was nice to see - Shropshire tea and Ludlow preserves. I appreciated the healthy options like porridge "toppings" even though there was no actual porridge (at least, if there was I didn't see it and I didn't ask!). The staff were a little bit "casual" but friendly enough. I mean, it was one of those situations where they were busy talking and interacting with each other and not paying me much attention as a customer. I thought paying for parking was a bit of a surprise but in the end the charge worked out OK for the length of my stay."

Yak & Yeti Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room was basic, but clean & functional. Parking onsite excellent as were staff. The bar & beer garden were also excellent."

Haughton Hall
8/10 Good
"Rooms were good just need update bar area nice staff really friendly grounds need daily grass cutting and striming pool area was ok need update"

Cromwell's Tap House
10/10 Excellent
"Bar food and staff are excellent. We took our dog who is well behaved and staff fussed over her. Room was clean and comfortable. Very old pub so sloping floors were bit of a giggle. Parking at St Julians carpark is a doodle if you down load the app. 5 mins walk from the pub. People moan about noise from pub in rooms in some reviews but they shut up by 10:30 and it becomes quiet as a church yard so no problem. (Might be different when they have live music so best check if you retire early)"

Stourport Manor Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Bath/shower very cramped but plenty of hot water. We overslept so did not have breakfast but had tea & coffee in the room. Bed large and very comfy. We just needed a place to sleep and shower. This more than fitted the bill. "

The Talbot Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very good location for all amenities shops bars eating places ."
