Whether was cold. The hotel was in a good location, trains to Atocha which has good access to all central sights in Madrid.

Our bed was enormous…a rarity at most hotels, so that was a plus. We didn’t have a view, per se. But, we did get light so we didn’t care. The temperature of the shower water could have been a bit warmer, but again, we didn’t care. We chose to eat breakfast one morning; we were impressed with the offerings. Our only “negative” was.,,there seemed to be an unpleasant smell in the hallway. Luckily that did not permeate into our room. For us, the location was wonderful!
