Wonderful building with many features retained from its history. Very friendly and helpful staff. Located by Tower Bridge, the hotel helped make our two-night stay (for a wedding) a great success.

The Dixon came recommended by a coworker. One of the first things I did once I left London was to thank him for the recommendation. The hotel was immaculate. Clean, the decor was beautiful, and the staff was fantastic. They had a room ready for me at 9 am which was a Godsend because we were on an overnight flight and got zero sleep. A short nap re-energized us so we could enjoy London that day. Thank you Dixon

Valentines weekend

Overnight stay for Valentine’s Day. Room upgraded on arrival. Complimentary chocolate and cookies at reception. Plenty of references to the buildings history (magistrates court and prison) - ask a member of staff for guided tour! ‘Spoiler Alert’ look out for the handcuffs on the chandelier in the entrance lobby. Hotel spotless, and staff keen to be if service. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked for another night !

Great hotel. However, the rooms are not soundproof as described. You can hear people open and close doors all the time. Also, the hotel doesn't allow eating late in their restaurant. But otherwise a great hotel.

This was a wonderful hotel . Loved everything , the staff was super helpful and we visited during the train strike so had to maneuver more options in travel . everyone was more than willing to help . It was quiet , had a lovely bar , a wonderful barista for coffee in the am . Did not get to the restaurant but only can imagine that it was great. Very close to the Tower of London bridge with tons of great restaurants within walking distance to the hotel.

The whole experience was superb. Room and facilities were top-notch and unbelievably quiet. The cafe featured one of the best breakfast buffets I have yet seen. The decor of the rooms and public spaces was fresh and imaginative, building on the theme of what the building used to be (a courthouse and jail). The entire staff was friendly and always helpful. Kudos to Rohit!

I recently had a fabulous two night stay at the Dixon to celebrate a birthday. The hotel is in a great location - about 8 minutes walk from London Bridge Station and so close to Tower Bridge and the iconic views of the London Skyline along the Thames. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and immaculately clean. The buffet breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and quickly replenished. Nice touches like loose leaf tea in the breakfast teapots rather than a teabag. I loved the character of the hotel with all the artwork. I would highly recommend the Dixon Hotel.
