I love staying in this area because of transportation- 2 streets over you have 2 tube stations central/circle/district-there also so many options to dine-and several grocery stores-The parks are up the street hyde park and kennisington park and palace-My room was one of the nicest I've had in my many trips to london- very secure and quiet!

This is an excellent hotel, conveniently located near major transit hubs and restaurants. Awesome staff as well. The breakfast buffet was decent for the price and the coffee was delicious!

Get more than you pay for and lovely staff

Id like to start this review by saying me and my boyfriend booked this trip AS CHEAP AS POSSIBLE without staying in an absolute hovel so the quality of this hotel especially the friendly and helpful staff and the amenties were an absolute bonus. When we checked in the lady who served us was lovely and showed us to our room. The room was spacious and even included a full size fridge and microwave! Everything was spotlessly clean and my only feedback would be the shower was a little small for my chubby self and my 6'3 partner 😊 the hotel is right by hyde park if you want to walk to the shopping areas but youre also only 2 roads from the underground which i found so much easier to navigate than i had thought. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and are very happy with what we got for the price, thank you to the whole team 🌟

Ok with a few hiccups

The staff at the hotel are excellent and worked extremely hard to make our stay comfortable. However, there were some issues with the wifi, room phone and tv channels and we had to move rooms because of this. A gentleman from the front desk worked so hard to resolve these issues and we greatly appreciated his time and effort! We were in a basement room for 4 people which was super spacious and clean, but a strange smell came from the air conditioning unit when you turned it on. The breakfast was great and the hotel is so close to the train and the city! A good hotel if you are looking for affordable lodging, close to main attractions, with great staff!

If you have to have a roof over your head

Room was hotter than a sauna. No air condition and the only way to get some fresh air was through window. Same time you got the noise from opposite construction site. Everything in the room had seen its best days. Still big plus for good service from the front desk

There was a warm welcome from Reception staff on arrival and checking-in was simple. The room was well-fitted with a comfortable bed and clean linen. The en-suite shower was clean and everything worked. The hotel overall is well maintained and kept to a high standard.

Previous reviews don’t do this justice!

This place gets bad press from people who expect The Ritz! Just returned from a few days away, the location of the hotel is fantastic, a few steps away from Queensway Underground, just over the road from Kengsington Gardens (which we enjoyed a walk around in the morning and grabbed breakfast and a coffee spotting the parrots) the location is brilliant and easy to get to and from any time! Hotel is clean, beds comfortable and staff great. Yes, the place could do with touching up here and there but for a budget friendly hotel in central London you can’t ask for much more! A good little base to rest your head before heading out for a busy day in the city. We will be returning again.

Good hotel and excellent value for money.

Nice stay, 3-4 mins walk to nearest tube, fairly big hotel, decent size room and slept well. Reception staff were very friendly, happy to help with directions, taxi's etc. Room was clean although quite dated and def needs some TLC but for the price it was good value for money and would have no issue staying again.
