Do Not stay here

Loud construction banging on connecting wall. Unit needs to be gutted and redesigned. Extremely bad layout. Stairs difficult to use. First floor: very small bedroom, extremely small bathroom, and Outdated Kitchen downstairs without table. 2nd floor: living area with large table but only 4 chairs. It would be almost impossible to bring hot food up the difficult stairs from the kitchen to the dining table. The last day we were there we had no hot water. We paid for 3 nights but the last night we went to a hotel. Worst place I have ever stayed. After the construction is finished, if the unit was redesigned and updated the location is be great.

BEWARE Unacceptable Ongoing Construction Next Door

There is ongoing VERY loud construction every day, including Saturday next door to the property. Vehicles are parked RIGHT outside the front door! This is not disclosed on the website. There is a large hotel property being built and there are large construction vehicles and jackhammering from 8:00-17:00, except Sunday. If you want to sleep in or nap in the afternoon - forget about it. You will also not be able to keep windows open. I was also surprised I needed to re-stock toilet paper and wash towels (with no detergent provided) prior to departure. Kitchen and bathroom not well-stocked (glassware/towels). Lost hot water 3rd day, but the property manager did have someone come out same day to resolve.

Unfortunately disappointed

First the positives. The location is excellent and provided easy access to Hyde Park and many of the historic locations including Buckingham Palace. The underground was nearby and was extremely convenient to anywhere we chose to visit. Now the overwhelming bad. The unit is next to a major construction site. Large equipment arrived prior to 8:00 am weekdays and was extremely loud and disrupting. In addition, the property is located across the street from the employee entrance to the Hilton. All hours day and night ( yes all hours of the night) employees would take their breaks and sit on a construction barrier outside the front of our property. The bedroom we stayed, the other two bedrooms were on the third floor where our children stayed, was on the first floor next to this construction barrier. We were awoken many times each night by individuals loudly talking outside our unit. This unit provided little sound insulation. Unfortunately we had a very poor experience at this property.
