Lonavala Retreat

Good property in Lonavala but there was too much noise on both nights from people partying in other rooms.

The property is bit dated and in need of update. The pool is not very well maintained and has dirty water. The outdoor waterpark and indoor pool were both very cold. Both breakfast and dinner had a good spread of cuisines. We were there for the new year which was very well organised. We also used the spa facilities which was very rejuvenating.

I like cleanliness, staff service, and all atmosphere of hotel. Inly one change they should do that not to charge for indoor games , and provide iron and iron board inside room.

Property is quite old not good not bad, According to room rate room was totally not worth. There is no good view from room after paying 20k per night. Bed was not comfortable at all. Breakfast was quite disappointed as not happy with taste same for dinner except few items in dinner buffet most of them was tasteless.

We fully understand that it is an old hotel we stayed at, so you could definitely see the usage of the hotel from time and wornness… when you entered the hallway, and more specifically the assigned room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke - as if it was in the ventilation system… :( In general the cleanliness was OK, but felt very superficial/done quickly. The reception could not assist with getting cabs / pickups, only provide numbers we could contact ourselves. Did not use the Spa, but it looked beautiful! The gym on the other hand, was very old and too tight for the amount of equipment that was there - even though the selection of equipment was very narrow … The staff was super nice and kind, asking and attentive. It is a big hotel, and i guess very family friendly!! Had a waterpark, indoor pool, and many more activities - but we did not attend those. All in all was OK, but we would not come again

Lovely Stay at Fariyas

We (myself and spouse) stayed for a night. Let me start with location.Excellent location with full of serenity and greenery with hill side view. People - everyone is exceptional in customer service starting for ball boy to front desk team. I would like to especially mention about Mr Alok Kumar Mahapatra who personally took care about the comfort of our stay. We had a very interesting discussion about fake reviews (which is a big problem now-a-days) for e-commerce and hotel/airline businesses. Akhrot Halwa in Dinner and Pakwan-Sindhi Daal & Dry Bundiya in Breakfast are worth to be mentioned. We love to visit the place again during Monsoon. Thank you, Fariyas Team for making us stay memorable.

Average stay, not worth the price

The stay was not the standard you expect from a 5 star resort. We got a wrong room at check in and the new room took too long. Room quality and maintenance is poor. Doors that don’t lock, poorly lit rooms, dingy and smelly bathrooms, certainly not what you expect for the price.
