"This is a small, cute country hotel near Barssel/Westerstede. Driving out to the place we wondered if there could really be a hotel so far out of town, but yes, there it was! It is not a luxury hotel, but the price is very reasonable and the staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean and tidy. A nice breakfast is included that makes a great start to the morning. I would definitely stay here again."

"Love that it's right on the lake and only 5 minutes walk to the market square. Lovely park by the water. 9 minutes walk from the Bad Zwischenahn train station. Mattress is sunken and there's no air conditioning. It was cool when I was there and the sliding doors let in very cool breeze. Bathroom fan not working!"

"Large modern room and bathroom, helpful staff, good restaurant with good choice of dishes. It wasn It was not a problem for us but shame lift was not included in a newish building. Nice location next to the old canal. This was a great stop off point between Keil and the Hook of Holland ferries."

"A lovely relaxing hotel in a beautiful garden and woods location. Easy walk to the lake and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are very helpful too. Room very well equipped and spacious. We shall come again!!! What a find!"
