"This was a lovely base from which to explore the local countryside, it suited me very well indeed and I was very happy and comfortable there. From my self-catering cottage experiences this year, the view from this property comes out top and I have fond memories of watching the birds at the extensive bird table. "We stayed a full week in pretty relentless rain yet came away thoroughly impressed by the accommodation and the welcome received from the hosts. The photos almost do not do the property justice, you really need to stay to properly appreciate it all. Lovely history to it, everything you need for your stay. Top quality heating system and faultless WiFi. Nice location, easy walk to the pub and a reasonably short drive to the shops. Our dogs had bowls towels etc provided. Lovely welcome hamper...
