"Lovely house in the town centre, just what me and a friend wanted for our holiday. House was lovely and clean, so many thoughtful touches. The kitchen had sharp knives, I think this is a first! Free additional parking is available in the craft centre car park."

"Gavin was a great host. Hotel in excellent position, parking wasn’t “on-site” but the car park in Dog lane is a two minute walk away and free(with pass provided by hotel). We had a small double and was big enough with nice bed , clothes hanging , tea /coffee/ biscuits and en-suite. Breakfast was good , we sat next to window on both days and was intrigued by historic graffiti etched into shutters. I would recommend to anyone who would like to visit area. But one word of caution if you have a crafter in your group bring a big wallet as Lavinia Stamps flagship store “ The Dreamatorium ” in very close.😉"

"Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful place, it had everything we needed and more, very comfy bed, plenty of supplies for cooking and cleaning, lots of sun in patio area which was our main sitting area, the seats were comfy too, Sheep footstool made my day, Bakery and Indian 20 seconds away and more to explore locally."

"We visited end of July into August. 2 adults and a teenager. This place is a great for time away to relax and unwind. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and with all the equipment in the kitchen that you need. Liza and Richard the hosts are great and very responsive to any questions or issues. The hot tub is the cherry and much needed after being out all day exploring. The little plum tea shop at the end of the lane is a gem and a must visit early in your stay, as you will want to return. The neighbours are great (sheep and cattle). It is a working farm and we found no disturbance from any activity that was going on. This is definitely somewhere we would book again."

"I stayed at the hotel. A beautiful large room better than expected. The hotel also features a bar/club so be prepared for noise if you want to get your head down before 11pm. Breakfast was a bit haphazard. There was no breakfast buffet which would have been a bonus and quite frankly, is not difficult to arrange. The breakfast was poorly cooked with no finesse - broken egg yolks, food swimming in lots of grease and the water from the poached eggs soaking the toast - oh dear! Evening meal nothing to write hom about but adequate. May sound a bit negative but an improvement in the food would make this a five star review. Everything else was great. Lovely room, lovely location and very well kept grounds."
The Longbarn is a Grade II listed luxury home, fully renovated inside and out.
