Inside, the cottage is equally serene and well thought out, with lots of windows, plentiful hooks in the bathroom and a great walk in shower, as well as a clean and spacious kitchen and living room. "We stay here quite a lot. It was lovely as always although I feel the rooms do now need to look at upgrading to keep inline with other 5 star hotels. The showers weren’t great. And the aircon was noisy."

"Very clean facilities and newly renovated. Staff very delightful. Lovely restaurant bar on the property. Free parking for hotel guests with modern coded gate. The location was awesome too perfectly located near a bus stop which can get you anywhere from Cardiff Central to the docks etc. also easy for drivers. Excellent overall."

"We had a lovely stay at Llechwen Hall. The accommodation was excellent our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the food was a real highlight, beautifully prepared throughout our stay. The one area that let things down slightly was the atmosphere among staff. It felt like there wasn't much warmth or teamwork between evening team members, and unfortunately this isn't the first time we've noticed this on a visit. A few staff members came across as somewhat forced in their friendliness, rather than genuine. That said, the quality of the rooms and food meant we still had an enjoyable stay overall, and we'd consider returning."

"If you’re driving somewhere it’s good value for money as a one or two nighter. Don’t expect anything flashy but it’s nice and clean. Would be better if they had a queen size bed. Be prepared to drive. It’s not close to anything. Breakfast was so so. Filling, but the powdered scrambled eggs were not very edible."
