「We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very cosy and well equipped. The setting is stunning with beautiful countryside and a haven for wildlife. It was lovely to see the otter and so many different birds, the woodpeckers being our favourite. Angela and Shaun have obviously worked very hard to make this into a special place to come and stay. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake is a blissful way to enjoy a glass of wine...

「Positives: fabulous setting, wonderful views, large garden gives plenty of outside space, hot tub fab, the cabin is comfortable & mostly has everything you’d need. Negatives: boiler not far from bed so kept me awake all night (I’m a light sleeper). No mirror anywhere. Blinds are useless so don’t expect a dark room when sleeping. Lots of dog poo in the garden, one corner was particularly bad & I called dog poo corner. Plates, bowls & mugs are all tiny!」
