A great place with warmth and quality!

Right from checking in when Debra welcomed is till the last day it felt very comfortable....a very easy environment. Debra and Guido run an amazing show with attention to detail and always with a solution. Even a request for some special food for our furry four legged was so promptly dealt with! Warmth every where. Seham and Hermano in the restaurant and bar were always there with a smile. And if you want a view...ask for room 28!

In summer vacation, I have stayed seven hotel and Al Forte is best place. Hotel is so traditional but clean and good. Especially, people are kind to my children and we are so happy for great room upgrade. Dinner is the best in all my abroad meal and I strongly recommend you half board. I hope there stay again if I go to Dolomite in future.

Hiking trip in dolomites

Spend 2 nigts at al forte as a part of our trip around Italy . Just everything worked out. Room was excactly as described, steak at the restaurant was the best (at that time of the trip atleast) ;) staff was very friendly, and veeeeery random checkout time was organized nicely with a staff. Only negative thing was that We werent able to try the breakfast as we went off so early during morning times:)

Von außen Top aber im Inneren gibt's Mängel

Vorerst sei festgestellt, dass Essen und das Personal sind super. Aber alleine schon der Wellnessbereich ist nix. Klein, dunkel keine direkte Anbindung ins Freie. Es gibt dort vier Liegen. Mit 6 Personen ist die Sauna voll!! Das Bad in unserem Zimmer hat eiskalten Boden und in der Nacht senkt die Heizung ab und die Heizkörper werden kalt. Ich brauch das nicht, da ist meine Sauna bei mir privat Zuhause größer und die Böden in den Bädern sind geheizt. Sorry aber leider war es genau so.

Nearly great!

Spent two nights there. Staff are super friendly, beautiful hotel but our room had a very ugly and badly 'repaired' crack the full length of the ceiling and the pillows were just balls of very old fluff - hideous! Shame, as otherwise a good experience. Beautiful location, close to Corvara which is a great place to visit. Easy for Cortina and the Sella pass.

Great position from which to base a walking holida

The whole week was a great experience. We were warmly welcomed and well looked after by the staff in the bar and restaurant who were exceptional. Great walking and magnificent scenery.

ドロミテ山塊の中にある一軒家で静かで歴史あるホテル

フランツ・ヨーゼフ皇帝の要塞として実際に使用されていた建物がレストランとバーになっていて歴史を感じて素晴らしかったです。また周りにホテルはおろか何も無いのがかえって素晴らしかったです。部屋の作りも良く、調度品も凝ってて大変魅力的でした。ポルドイ峠にも車で近く、ドロミテの観光にも便利なロケーションでした。

Très satisfait

Bel hotel dans les dolomites. Très bien reçu, la chambre avait une vue sur la montagne, le restaurant était excellent, le chef parlait un peu le français. Nous le recommandons sans hésitation si vous passez dans les environs.

un incanto!!!

Hotel molto bello essendo un forte ristrutturato,sulla strada ma molto silenzioso.isolato dalla confusione ma con tutto nelle vicinanze.staff molto gentile in particolare neno il cameriere di sala ed anche Lilly,cucina spettacolare,mi sarei portata a casa il cuoco. Consiglio a chiunque voglia fare delle belle passeggiate sulle splendide dolomiti.

Great views and service. Only slight issue was warmth of room combined with thick bedding made for a distrurbed sleep.

Mt. road modern hotel

Beautiful hotel with adjoining restaurant built into an old Austrian fort. Each dining table is set opposite a gunport window. The hotel is new with knotty pine decor. Staff is friendly and multi-language. Great stop on our journey thru the dolomites.

Bra mat men inte så barnvänligt

Vi hade en trevlig vistelse, framförallt upplevde vi att restaurangen var bra varierat kök. Minus för att barn inte fick använda bastun trots att det i te var mycket folk där. Vi tyckte också att personalen kunde ha varit mer påläst angående aktiviteter mm i området.

Einfach nur spitze, ein besonderer Aufenthalt!

Juli 2014, eine Übernachtung. Ein sehr besonderer Aufenthalt, Hotel am Hang gebaut neben einer alten Festung; in dieser ist das überaus leckere Restaurant, Essensqualität deutlich über Standard. Hotel und Restaurant sind unterirdisch verbunden, das Ganze ist sehr urig und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Einziger kleiner Negativpunkt: Die Zimmer könnten größer sein, sind aber noch ok so. Für uns mit Abstand das beste Hotel bei unserer Dolomitentour, sehr zu empfehlen. Liegt direkt an der Bergstraße; im Sommer vielbefahren von Autos und Motorrädern.. Hotel ist Mitglied in mehreren Bike-hotel-Verzeichnissen.
